EVENT DATE: SATURDAY MARCH 16TH
In honour of Sofia Coppola’s iconic film Marie Antoinette (2006) being screened in 35mm at the Playhouse Cinema, we’ve teamed up with them and our pals at Pinch to bring you a night of cake, crafts, and cute vibes! Each ticket includes admission to the fête at Pinch from 6-9pm and the film screening at the Playhouse at 9:30pm.

our pals at Pinch will host us for a cozy and cute evening before the movie! Their bakery team will teach you the basics of cake decorating and you’ll get your own small three-layer cake (valued at $25) to test out your new skills on and take home. Cakes are vanilla strawberry and vegan option is available (please email us if you require).
there will also be some fun crafting time and each participant will make a Marie-approved velvet bow hair clip so you can keep the French romantic vibes going!
event admission also include treats and delicious punch served in champagne coupes, a la Marie!
around 9pm we will collect ourselves (along with our cake and our crafts) and slowly make our way over to the cinema next door in anticipation of the 9:30 show!

your ticket includes admission to the very special 35mm screening of the film (valued at $16), in the beautiful and historic Playhouse theatre! coming by yourself? You can totally sit with us!
a few notes:
- we will space out the cake decorating to small groups and will email you your time slot in advance so you can decide if you want to come for the entire 6-9 hours or shorter. if you have any specific request for time or have a friend you’re attending with that you want to be grouped with, please email us. otherwise we will choose at random! whitney@girlonthewing.ca
- please ensure your email address is correct when you sign up as we will touch base with you leading up to the event
- when can checking out the website will ask you about delivery, select curbside pickup. proof of ticket will be your girl on the wing receipt- we will add your name to the guest list and you can just show up on the evening of the event
- parking is available in lot between pinch and the playhouse. there’s also meters on Sherman and a paid lot across from the Playhouse.
