Happy National Donut Day!

In honour of a *sacred* holiday, National Donut Day, we wish you all an assorted bakers dozen and a big cup of coffee (or milk in my case!). In my vintage photo travels I've come across some strange old beauty competition photos, and my favourite, BY FAR, was the "Donut Queen" crownings that took place from the 40's-60's. I'm not sure what these women had to do to become Donut Queen but I full-heartedly support them. Take a look:
